The New Masters
Dadaism, an avant-garde movement emerged in the early 20th century, radically questioned traditional art forms and conventions. One of its most significant contributions was the concept of the "readymade," popularized by Marcel Duchamp (Tribe et al., 2009).
Duchamp’s readymades involved taking everyday objects and presenting them as art, challenging the notion of artistic originality and authorship.
In this spirit, the subjects in this project are repurposed and reimagined versions of classic iconic works. Stable Diffusion AI was used to create new, provocative pieces that retain the essence of the originals while presenting them in a radically different context.
