Calamity!
This collection of abstract and surreal imagery portrays ethereal figures in the clouds, gazing down at Earth, walking among the heavens. These artworks blend dreamlike elements with poignant themes, capturing the delicate balance between serenity and chaos. Act 1: Reconnaissance
This first act features works that use geometric shapes, bold colors, and monolithic structures. They appear alien and sterile to precipitate the essence of chaos and serenity intertwined. Each piece builds towards the themes of destruction and contemplation, allowing viewers to interpret the calamity through a purely visual language. Form and color collide to depict the tumultuous events from an otherworldly perspective.
Act 2: Invasion
In the second act, the collection delves deeper into dreamlike interpretations of calamity. Here, I attempt to create otherworldly scenes that challenge the viewer's perception. Calamity strikes.
Act 3: The Inhabitants
These images shows the beings that inhabit the clouds. These artworks depict celestial figures who walk among the clouds, embodying a sense of calm amidst chaos. Their presence adds a human element to the abstract and surreal landscapes, allowing viewers to connect emotionally with the scenes. Act 4: Overwatch
This Act offers a perspective from the heavens, where a mysterious figure gazes down upon the Earth. This section captures the contemplative and intimate moments as they watch from above. Through these bird’s-eye views, the artworks convey a profound sense of loss and detachment.  These scenes highlight the fragility of existence and illustrates the gap between the celestial and the terrestrial.
Act 5: Home
In this final Act, the sky inhabitants have cleared the earth below for settlement.  These works transport viewers to the lofty heights of the clouds. This section showcases expansive, atmospheric landscapes where the sky becomes a canvas for dramatic events that now lay empty. These artworks reflect the duality of peace and destruction unfolding. Each piece in this act captures the vastness and beauty of the heavens, providing a stark contrast to the calamity observed.
